News emerged today that Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has been arrested for drunk driving in Florida. The 19 year old was seized by police after racing and crashing his car. His arrest comes a week after cops searched his home following an incident where the singer is accused of throwing eggs at a neighbours house.

These cases have prompted a backlash from the singers critics, a quick search of his name on twitter brings about descriptions like ‘dumb-ass’, ‘thug’, ‘douche’, ‘satan’ and ‘f—–g idiot’ (some of the milder suggestions). But why do people hate Justin Bieber with such a passion? Below is a timeline of reasons why people may hate the stroppy star and might explain why some people think he is a bad role model;

A pretty extensive list… perhaps justifying why people loathe the pint-sized pop star. He seems to have the enduring support of his fans (Beliebers), but what kind of example is he setting them… especially when they defend his every move.
